The item was well constructed and mounted to my rifle firmly. I did not have the opportunity to use the scope rings. On my H&R rifle the barrel sights weren't tall enough to be seen through the rings. I was disappointed that I wasn't able to use the rings, not because there was anything wrong with them, only because they didn't work in my application. I would consider them again for a different rifle.
