I use these bullets in my S&W Model 629-6 PC with a 2 5/8" barrel. The accuracy is excellent over Alliant Power Pistol powder with absolutely no leading. This is an excellent bullet at a fair price and I prefer it to jacketed bullets with this load.

I love to shoot lead ...

I love to shoot lead bullets for the simple reason of low cost and very good accuracy. Clean up? It's work regardless of the brand. However, these bullets 'failed' to smear the 9.5 inch barrel of my Super Redhawk. Quite a surprise. The downside came about when firing the projectiles from .44 Spec. cases. Whether used ahead of AA No. 5, AA No. 7 or Viht N-350, I could manage only two or three rounds per chamber before the wire brush was needed. Once again, the barrel wasn't smeared and cleaned easily with Shooter's Choice. The chambers required the same solvent, a brush attached to a drill motor and about three hours of time. .44 Mag cases with the same powders didn't foul the chambers to the point they wouldn't accept another round ( 250 rds fired ). Any lead bullet will cause you some cleanup grief but these offered far less than 4 other brands I have tried. I recommend these.

I have a Browning B-92 in ...

I have a Browning B-92 in 44 magnum. Unfortunately it has micro-grove rifling and I could barely keep lead bullets on paper at 25 yards with most rounds key holing. These .431 diameter shoot with excellent accuracy. I was on the verge of selling this beautiful gun to buy a lesser rifle capable of shooting lead bullets for cowboy action shooting. I could not be happier with the results of these bullets.

I tried these in a Marlin ...

I tried these in a Marlin .44 Magnum Cowboy II and now use nothing else. When loaded over Hodgdon HP38 I got no malfunctions, no leading, and consistent 1-1/2 groups at 30 yards. Also very accurate in a Colt New Frontier .44 Special with large cylinder throats.

Bullets are very constistent with weight and .431" diameters. No barrel leading at 1100 fps (mild 44 magnum loads). Much tighter groups out of my Redhawk than any other Jacketed ammo. Also great for 44 spl.
