This scope mount locks up ...

This scope mount locks up solid, and the rail sits about 1/8 of an inch above the cover of my 308 VEPR. Interestingly, with the throw lever open, you can place the mount directly over the top of the side rail, move the scope mount to a full vertical position, and move the throw lever into the closed position. This is instead of sliding the mount onto the rail. By doing this, you can fit scopes that normally won't fit around the rear iron sight because of a large front ocular.I only gave 4 stars because the top rail is about 1/8 inch to the right of center over the bore axis.

great product! Got it for my krebs AK-103k and fits perfectly Align with the bore. its also a plus from other scope mounts for the AK cause it sits very low to the dust cover so your more comfortable with your cheek on the stock of the rifle.

I bought this for an Arsenal SGL23-61. It wasn't even close to the center of the bore. I have other mounts, although they are not machined as cleanly(made in Russia), they do line up with the bore and sights. I will be returning it.

At first a little skeptical, but after a few fittings, I like it, a lot. It centers up with the iron sights and locks on tight, for what it is. I mean, a scope rail riveted to a sheet metal receiver.....and this locks onto all that. A lot of chance for stack up, but surprisingly, it works well and looks good. I bore sighted a red dot mounted, and it was only off to the right a little. BTW, this mount fits about anything with a rail; AKM, AK, SVD PSL, ect. Another plus, this is all 1 piece, other than the lock mechanism. The lock lever also locks into pos. If you are left handed, don't matter. The lock lever won't get in the way. Definitely a 5 *****+++.

Have it on my Arsenal SGL31 and mounts low enough for co-witness with Micro T1 but too low to take off AK receiver without removal of this rail first. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

I returned this mount because it was hitting the dustcover on my Saiga 308 when mounted. Not enough clearance. The rail on the mount was not centered with the bore when mounted. It might fit other rifles. Mount was well made and light.
