I used about 1/2 of the 5 lbs to fill my Lyman Turbo tumbler up 1/2 way (perfect amount). It comes with a small amount of powdered "polish" in a separate packet than the media. When I first tumbled the media, I added a small amount (about 1/4 cup of water) to reduce the initial dust. I also put a hand towel over the slotted lid. The dust is not bad, but I added some liquid Flitz polish and it reduced the dust to almost zero. The media initially clumped slightly when I added the water, but the clumps broke down after about 5 minutes of tumbling. I have an ultrasonic cleaner, which cleans the primer pockets after a few cycles, but doesn't put a shiny polished finish on the brass. In addition, drying the brass after sonic cleaning is a pain. Now, I sonic clean the brass to get the primer pockets and the brass clean, then I put the slightly wet brass in the tumbler. The wet brass reduces the dust and I get my nice polish on the brass. About 1/3 of the flash holes have media stuck in them, but just barely - I think this will get better as the media wears down a little.
