Best and brightest sight ...

Best and brightest sight I'd used. I really liked how the dots just popped, day or night. I put sets on 2 guns ..... For a month or so they did great. Then like the others said the front light pipe broke and came out. For the life of me I don't understand why they do not fill the pipe cut outs with acrylic. That would be cheap and would 100% fix the issue. I have thought about buying another set and doing just that, but after not even getting a response back from them, they can, well use your imagination. Unless you plan on epoxy potting the pipes before you even use the sites I simply can NOT recommend these sights.

I had these on my XD ...

I had these on my XD sub-compact for 3 years. Loved 'em every minute. I did lose the front f.o. tube late last season, called TruGlo, they gave me a RMA so I returned the slide to them. Had it back in 10 days with a fresh front sight, no charge (other than shipping to them). One forum suggested dabbing a bit of clear silicone on top of the front sight to help retain the tube... I am about to order a set for my new XDm 3.8 compact.

I had these sights in my XDM40, I have used these sights for about 7-8 months at the range with light use, no duty use or anything to demanding of them. The last time at the range the front fiber optic flew out and of course it was lost. I then find out Truglo only warranties their products for 90 days. If I knew they had such a poor warranty I would not have bought them in the first place. Save yourself the headache and buy some Trijicon sights.

These sights are really bright in daylight and very respectable at night. I have them on my Glock and love them. However, they seem poorly designed for the XDM. The long front sight doesn't sit flush with the slide (you can clearly see a gap below it). Also, point of aim is off - the pistol shoots 3 inches high at 10 yards.

Excellent choice of sight. Great in all light conditions.**Must use a sight pusher/adjusting tool on installation. Must NOT use punch on installation or adjusting, will damage vial/tube.**

I purchased and had these sights mounted on my XD Sub. Very nice sights. For the first 400 rounds. Then I noticed the front filiment was gone. Emailed TruGlo and was told repairs would be made. Send the slide in and they'd fix it. Got the slide back exactly the same as it was when I sent it. Had to re-send it because "somebody screwed up". I don't trust these sights anymore, heading over to Trijicon display.

Top notch all the way! Best sights I've had on my XD .45 and I've tried them all. These things really glow in the dark. Very bright at night and even brighter in daylight. The yellow rear sight is considerably dimmer than the front green. I called TRUGLO about it and they told me this is normal. It's made that way as not to distract the shooter from seeing the front sight. Believe me, after using them for a while, you won't even notice it. Now, a word of caution, You MUST use a sight pusher tool to install these. I ruined the first set I bought by being a caveman and hammering them on. They're strong, but they can be damaged. Overall, a dam good sight system. I like them alot.

Best sights I have bought by far. They look great, and I have not shot the gun yet but with the bore sight they lined right up exactly like the factory sights. They work very well in the darkest areas, and just as well in well lit areas. I do highly recomend that you have a professional gunsmith install them however. But I would have any fixed sights put on by a professional.

I received a faulty rear ...

I received a faulty rear sight that had the right side brighter and the left dead. I'm just curious as to how long they are supposed to last when one side is already out.
