Cast Performance Flat Nose Gas Check bullets are cast from virgin alloy and produced in extremely precise and consistent LBT style molds. Optimal hardness from heat-treating prevents fragmentation on even the toughest hide and bone. Cast Performance Bullets are known to not lead your bore and feature a specialized lube allowing bullets to be shot at high velocities. Load data is included with most of the bullets.

Great bullet for 357 max ...

Great bullet for 357 max fired in a T/C rifle. Bullets grouped into 1.5 " at 50 yds with a Weaver 3-9X scope. I also put gas check on this bullet after reading a review in this website under the Hornady Camlock bullet puller. It explains how a girl used the latter tool to put a gas check groove & gas check on any lead bullet. It works very well and saved me a fortune from buying FMJ bullets to fire in my rifle. Even with 1,700 fps bullet velocity, no leading of my rifle barrel is seen.

Shooters should check the ...

Shooters should check the size of the chamber throats of their gun(s) before using these. .357 Magnum cartridge loaded with these would not fully chamber in my 686. Bullet was too large for the throats. The chamber shoulder actually imprinted itself into the bullet at the interference point. It's a shame, but can't really fault the bullet. They seem to be of good quality otherwise.

I was certain these would ...

I was certain these would chamber in my GP100, being that Ruger's are known for having long cylinders. They did not, however, when seated in 357 cases. They did chamber fine in my Pre-Model 10 loaded in 38 cases, kind of surprising how that worked out. These are fine, accurate bullets, they just won't work in all revolvers. Definitely check the fit in your cylinder before you load in quantity.
