Excellent information ...

Excellent information about the internal operation and disassembly/reassembly of the CZ-75. I admit I haven't actually tried any sort of disassembly beyond normal field stripping yet (if it ain't broke...), but I was able to follow the video without problem. There are some tricky parts during reassembly, though, so make sure you understand the reassembly procedure _before_ you start disassembling, or you might find you've bitten off more than you can chew. The information is just a tad outdated. My CZ-75 was manufactured in 2007, and I noticed it has an extra pin through the slide, two actually (an inner and an outer both contained in one hole), that is not present on the model being disassembled in the DVD, and mine also has an ambi safety that is not on the original model; but 99.9% of the information on the DVD is still applicable. I've often heard that the CZ-75 was inherently more accurate than other pistols due to its "inside rail" design. I've never believed this (can you say "Sig"?) and was hoping the DVD might say something about that, but nope; the inside rail design was never mentioned once. Hence, I have to say that the technical information in the DVD is incomplete, and wonder what else might have been omitted. Overall a great DVD, though.

I bought the dvd to learn ...

I bought the dvd to learn more about the newer Witness pistols. The video focused exclusivly on an older CZ pistol which has a different hammer-spring arrangement. Also, the Witness uses all roll pins which makes disassembly much more difficult and they never mention this in the video. While I learned some basic facts, many questions specific to the Witness were left unanswered. This dvd would be fine if you own a CZ or an older Witness pistol held together with standard pins. However, if you own a newer Witness, it only provides very basic knowledge and is not worth the price.
