Hello,It works well for ...

Hello,It works well for the application in which I wanted to use it. I have a semi-portable setup that has a 505 scale, powder thrower, and this trickler. The trickler is screwed onto a piece of wood and trickles directly into the pan. The idea is to get real close with the powder thrower and then trickle it up by tapping the roller. One extruded piece of powder comes out at a time, and tapping it turns the roller just enough that it stays full. That said, if I weren't being so picky about getting my load RIGHT ON THE NOSE or if I weren't using this particular setup, I would not have bought it. The metal ones do work much better.I'm only giving it three stars because it works in my application. Might not in yours.Regards,JoshP.S. If I go over my load by even 1/10th of a grain, I pull a couple pieces of powder out until I get back down to where I want it, using a Lee dipper. Need help, don't I? ?

This trickler works OK ...

This trickler works OK with most powders but it will not work with fine powders like Winchester 748. More powder comes out from around the trickler shaft than through it if you can get it to turn at all!!!

Absolute Junk. Doesn't ...

Absolute Junk. Doesn't trickle any powder out at all. You have to hold it on a angle to get 1 flake of powder out of it. I tried ball, flake, and stick and its the same. Total piece of garbage.

Great! Sure beats using a ...

Great! Sure beats using a spoon. At first a little rough to turn but after running some powder through, it smoothed right up. No powder on the bench. Great value and no more wasted powder.

Very rough cheap molding. ...

Very rough cheap molding. Plastic looks to be the cheap styrene stuff they make kids models from. The trickle tube was extremely sloppy. Skated all over the table until I put some rubber feet on it. My father has the RCBS, it has much smoother operation and built more durable.
