Technical Information

Note:
  • Because this rifle is using a magazine well designed for the 223 Remington cartridge, this limits the overall length of the cartridge that will fit and feed in this magazine
  • If handloading, the WSSM has an overall length of 2.36" but the cartridge will need to be 2.34" or less to fit this magazine, and 2.3" is probably a good starting length as there may be slight variations between magazines
  • Factory ammunition loaded with long, heavy bullets will likely not fit in this magazine
  • While all WSSM cartridges have an overall length of 2.36", a problem with fit has been reported more with the 25 WSSM than with the smaller caliber WSSM cartridges
