Gun Butter Trigger and Locking Lug Gun Grease outperforms graphite and moly greases while also adhering to surfaces better. It was designed to reduce the moment of inertia in moving parts and protection of high impact surfaces Not recommended for use on slides.

Suggest application:

Placed in hammer hooks

Sear tip and pressure pads / contact points

The sear spring tip

Upper and lower locking lugs on the barrel

Also suggested for use on the hammer strut contact point with the cup for the hammer spring.

Use sparingly.
Note: Manufacturer does not recommend use on slides surfaces, as the performance of Gun Butter alone is optimal.

I am a believer in this stuff! I have a SIG Mosqueto that just wouldnt run/(fire well without jamming), I'm a Tactical Response Alum, and followed their advice on using grease instead of oil to lube ones gun. I cleaned my pistol last year (using this product), put it up and forgot all about it. I got it out yesterday, and for the first time ever that thing RAN! I went thru 100 rnds with no probs. The only difference I can think of is the gun butter/grease. Same ammo, etc.

I used Gun Butter Grease on my AR-15 bolt carrier rails. It worked great! I also used Gun Butter oil on the bolt, and extractor. Gun Butter is a great lubricant and I use it on my firearms with the confidence that they will work every time!

If you are looking for bolt roller grease that can handle extremes, you need not look any further. Works excellent on triggers and locking lug areas too! As a Gunsmith/Armorer, I swear by this product.

I use this product primarily for pistols but also for revolvers. It is not a heavy grease and it has a low viscosity for grease under all temperatures. It is recommended for barrel locking lugs and trigger sears only, however, I have used it with excellent results on the exterior of the barrel where it mates with the slide and on all the slide and frame rails and mating surfaces including the under portion of the slide that contacts the hammer. It is especially effective here in the desert under hot and very dry conditions. It will last throughout an entire range session of several hundred rounds without having to refurbish the lubricant. The pistol wear is very minimal when using this grease and the reliability is excellent, even at the end of the firing session, with no failures to feed or eject. I do use Gun Butter oil on the tight pivot points for the trigger, trigger bar, slide release and decocker components of pistols. A little grease goes a long way when lubricating a pistol and I am very pleased with the overall reliability of the pistols when using this grease.
