Quick, Easy and effortless install. I had my doubts it seems somewhat flimsy at first, then when it's in place, feels very solid. I have read reviews that state to combine this with the 3.5 lb connector when you have a carry weapon. Works great. Removes a good portion of the draw and still allows a stop before the final pull. Definetely recommend this for ALL Glock owners!

I use this trigger spring with the 3.5# connector on my Glock 19 Gen 3. It was simple to install and I personally like the trigger with this set-up for CCW purposes. It has the tension style of a revovler trigger like a S&W J frame. It requires a slight amount of deliberate force to actuate.Without pre-travel "play".It is not for competition purposes since shooting alot will give your finger a workout, but provides a solid trigger feeling throughout. The spring seems to provide a constant tension throughout the trigger bar movement as it rides on the plascic leverage. I am acutally purchasing two more for my other Glock pistols. I highly recommend at this price. Thank you.

This is a must for concealed carry if you keep one in the chamber of your Glock in my opinion. Its not great if your target shooting a lot, but thats not what it was designed for, better safe than sorry. Also I put just a touch of gun grease on the top of the spring and where the connector touches to smooth out the trigger pull.

The NY-1 makes your Glock's trigger pull more consistent throughout the travel, as well as a bit heavier. This is a Good Thing for a CCW piece. There is a reason Massad Ayoob likes the NY-1 in his Glocks.I had mine installed in a Glock 30. I found I could shoot pretty much as accurately as before - which is to say, good enough for self-defense, as the G-30 isn't a target gun to begin with.This is a very cheap and totally worthwhile upgrade for a carry piece, or if you just like a more revolver-like trigger on your range guns.I can't speak to installation issues, as I had mine done by a gunsmith.

Some claim that the NY1 trigger with a 3.5# connector gives you a solid, lighter trigger pull. This was not the case in my experience. This combo is still too heavy for range use. However, if you plan to use it for what Glock designed it for, CCW or duty use, it is excellent. A solid feeling, predictable trigger that is safe and reliable. This is an excellent upgrade if you plan to use it for what it's intended for.

Excellent product. Its not for those searching for the ultimate competition trigger, but, gives a more solid feel. Coupled with one of the 3.5 lb connectors, it lets the shooter resume a 5.5 lb pull and gives a more "solid" feel to your Glock. I highly recommend it for duty or CCW sidearms.

It's a quality Glock part ...

It's a quality Glock part and it works, but it did have some fitting issues (hence the 4 stars) which I'll get into in a moment. Right now, I feel I should elaborate on just HOW exactly the NY1 DOES work.As you may know, the stock Glock trigger has a fairly light take up in the first stage and a crisp, surprise break in the second stage. With this spring, you'll notice a much firmer take up in the first stage, and VERY noticeable and consistent creep in the second stage. Bear in mind this isn't a product flaw, it's exactly what this spring was intended to do: Replicate the feel of a revolver's DA trigger pull, right down to the "stacking" at the end. Only difference is now, you can just cut right to the "stacking" with a short reset.As far as the trigger reset is concerned, it doesn't really make it more positive, it just snaps the trigger forward with more force. My gripe is it ruins the otherwise perfect concise reset of the stock spring. I say this because it springs back with so much authority it will sometimes push your trigger finger just slightly beyond the definite reset point you're used to with the stock spring and requires more deliberate finger control to keep it from fully returning. At least for me anyway...It wouldn't be fair to say that this is "bad" or that the NY1 is "junk." Some people prefer a heavier, DAO-style pull. I, personally, like the stock trigger. Some people feel more comfortable with this spring because the stock one gives them the heebie-jeebies. I say the first and foremost safety still lies between your ears.If you can live with the NY1 and just can't accept the weight of the stock spring, go for it. I will say this, though... My NY1 snapped into my 19's housing a little on the loose side, and I was somewhat disappointed with the side to side slack in the trigger bar with this spring, but that's not because it's poorly made.
