This is an outstanding barrel! I have a Magnum Research MLR1722 rifle that comes stock with one of these barrels. It is an incredibly light rifle. I was really amazed at how accurate the rifle was compared to my stock Ruger 10/22. I've since begun building a "tactical" rifle using my 10/22 receiver in a Nordic Components AR22 stock kit, and I put the Magnum Lite barrel in it and it makes a HUGE difference in how the rifle handles. Even the stock Ruger 18" tapered barrel puts a lot of weight out front. But with this lightweight barrel, the rifle is more maneuverable. This will be important for the rimfire pistol/rifle matches my local club is running.

This is wonderfully light,very accurate, and treacherously picky about its ammo choices. Mine is OEM installed on MRI's fancy blue thumb holed stocked rifle. Will shortly be called blue devil. My barrel only feeds CCI velocitors and CCI minimags. Rws tgt rifle is one hole accurate at 25yd. Bbl. has the benz chamber so no CCI stingers. I would love this barrel if it would only feed reliably.So far only works with the 10 rnd Ruger factory magazines to top it all off. Maddening potential dissolved by unreliability. Have fun, I'm looking for another barrel.

The barrel was simple to install once I heated the receiver slightly it pushed into position. To date it is one of the most accurate barrels I have tested and shoots many different types of ammo. (Not to tightly chambered) no extraction problems encountered. The carbon fiber is light in weight, after lugging around a steel .920 dia. barrel this is a welcome change and has a different sound compared to other barrels. Pricey yes, but deadly accurate!!!

I just installed this barrel on my 10/22 and it is a tack driver, the accuracy is unparalleled to any other 22 cal I have ever shot. The barrel fit right no work needed to get it in there. I shoot 1/2 in groups at 100 yards like it is nothing. It is much more accurate than the M4 the army gave me, I wish I could take this to combat. Well worth the money if you consider accuracy important.
