another great hornady product! this is definitely going to be my new deer bullet for my sporterized mk4 savage enfield w/epps chamber. loaded mild w/a 45gr. charge of rl15 @ 2400 fps im printing 100 yd 1/2" to 3/4" groups all day long. kicks about like a 30-30, but im sure it'll reach out farther than one. give this bullet a try,you prolly wont regret it.

I have used these bullets for years out of many SMLE 303's Australian, British, Indian, It works well in all of them and is a great pill from goat to deer to hog it kills them all very dead, it is also a very Nice looking bullet,

This bullet is just the ticket for the 7.62X54R whether it's a Russian or a finely made Finn Nagant. Bores should be slugged but most will find a fit in this .312" diameter bullet. Use Sierra's suggested accuracy load with 150 grain bullets in the 7.62X54R and everybody else at the range will be amazed at how well you do. Also, it performs superbly on game even as big as elk.

I own 5 7.62x54R rifles, 2 91/30, 1 M44, 1 T-53 Chinese bring back and 1 M91 Finish. All slugged at .312 except the M91 (.3085) and the M44 (.3115). I use this bullet in all but the M91 and it is hands down the best bullet I have found for any of these rifles (have not tried Hornadys special run .312 175gr HPBT match yet). Very good results from all rifles even with a generic load, group sizes do vary but my loads are not worked up for each rifle since I never know which the round will be used in. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the flat base. Would love to see these in a boat tail to more closely match the mil-surp ammo and have the iron sights work as marked at longer ranges. Even if the special run bullets do shoot better this will still be my go to bullet for the old Russian rimmed cartridge for game gathering, zombies and those ever dangerous steel plates that loom in the distance. Also the cannelure seems to be in the right location for the 7.62x54r as well.

Wow, these are some pretty looking bullets! bought a box of 100 and I am so impressed! The accuracy in my no.1 mk3 Enfield is incredible! Wish they were not out of stock so much!

These work great in my ...

These work great in my M39 Finn Mosin Nagant that slugged at .3115" and has a worn throat and bore. 5 shot groups are constantly under 2 inches and usually better. I also use the 174 gr. Round Nose .312" which also does good.

My 7.65X53 Mod.1909 Argentine Mauser thrives on this bullet. Using the original military sights I get 1.5 to 2.25 inch groups @ 100yds using a healthy dose of IMR 4320 that clocks an average speed of 2717fps on my chronograph. I've taken a few deer with it and the deer just died! They didn't run off they just died in their tracks.

I use these exclusively in my 2 #5 LE pattern rifles. With a nice, fairly mild hunting load for my 12 year old son they are very accurate out to 200 yards. I came within 8 points of my first Bronze medal at Camp Perry this year with these in my #5 BSA.

Using my Enfield #4 Mk 2 ...

Using my Enfield #4 Mk 2 with a 4X Tasco, I dropped a nice 6 pt whitetail using a max load of Accurate 2700 and this great bullet. The deer fell in his tracks at approximately 275 yds. Great bullet performance!
