I live in a very humid ...

I live in a very humid environment and I have many collectible firearms that have some of their original bluing that is thin. I searched long and hard to find a rust preventative that I trusted. Shooter's Choice Rust Prevent is the one. I first degrease the metal components in a dehumidified room and then apply an even coat of Rust Prevent. I actually think the smell is pleasant. Independent tests like the one below have shown this product and Boeshield T-9 to be excellent products.

I am sure the product ...

I am sure the product works as advertised even though, to my surprised, independent studies/tests (check forum/internet) rank it low on the rust preventative quality. The only major drawback on the product is its pungent smell. The smell will stays with you if gets to skins or clothes. Even my dog won't come near me and would rather stays out in the rain. When using the product, gloves and open window is heavily recommended. If not, it'll get you light-headed and dizzy.

It really works! Spray it ...

It really works! Spray it on a rag and wipe down the metal parts. It will not rust.
