Hello folks, if youre in need of 1911 base pads these are the only ones to purchase, for I have ordered the others. These screwed on in a jiffy, and didnt feel like I was wrestling an alligator!

These work great for a good grab on a mag that's in a tight pouch or stuck in a gun, full depth insertion in your gun and protect the mag base when dropped on a hard surface.

I have these base pads on ...

I have these base pads on all my magazines and like them pretty well. They add enough length to the magazine to ensure a good seat when doing emergency reloads. I have had some trouble with the screws coming out, but in retrospect, I don't recall putting thread locker on the screws when I installed the pads. So in short, I recommend these but be sure to use thread locker on the screws.
