Weaver Top-Mount Rings offer wide top steel caps that hold zero under the most jarring recoil. Loosen the thumb nuts and you can go back to iron sights in seconds. Later you can put the rings back on the base, tighten the thumb nuts and the scope will be very close to zero.

CHOOSING RINGS: Ring height is determined by measuring the outside objective (bell) diameter on your scope. If you aren't sure which rings will suit your needs, please refer to the Ring Height Application Chart.

After purchasing an Ultra ...

After purchasing an Ultra Match Dot scope for use with a Weaver 304 base on a Colt Trooper Mark III to my dismay the rings that came with the scope did not work. The center part of the scope is just wide enough so the sliots of the base will not align with the rings. I purchased these exteded rings as a solution after reading comments by one reviewer. After installation the scope mounted perfectly. Great product.

The purpose for buying ...

The purpose for buying Weaver 30mm Extended Rings was to mount a Tasco ProPoint red dot scope on a Ruger Blackhawk. The base was a Weaver pistol mount, but the slots for the ring were too close together to accommodate the raised central portion of the ProPoint with normal rings. The extended front ring made the scope a perfect fit. Weaver products are always top quality. It's just that sometimes you have to be a bit inventive to get everything to work.

Despite the "Low" moniker ...

Despite the "Low" moniker these do raise your scope a little higher than other low rings. Solid rings though. These are now holding my 30mm Red Dot on my 44 Mag. Ruger SBH. I used super glue to lock the screws and butted the front of the adjustment knob housing against the front ring to stop scope movement during recoil.
