The ProSmith Shotgun rod measures 34" long and has 5/16 x 27 female threads. Stainless steel road is coated with DuPont TufCoat and features a swiveling plastic handle. Can also be used on black powder firearms.

The only negative is the ...

The only negative is the coating is about the thickness of paint and comes off easily if you encounter a sharp edge like an ejector cutout. The coating on mine had already chipped off the end when I got it. The good news is "who needs a coated shotgun rod anyway". I would have bought it even if it was NOT coated. It is approximately 5/16" in diameter, very stout and otherwise well made. The length is much handier to use than my 44" Deweys.

Just got this rod a few ...

Just got this rod a few days ago. Works GREAT. Very sturdy, has a good feel to it, and doesn't scratch my barrel. The delrin follower is great for my O/U barrels, and the handle has a great feel to it. Would recommend it for anyone who is serious about cleaning
