I have never been very happy with the stock front sight, so I bought this set. I am very happy I did. For target shooting, I like the "inverted V" the best. It allows you to bring a nice sharp point right up to the target. It's very precise for target shooting. For combat shooting, I like the middle size ball. I just center the ball in the rear peep sight and put the ball on my target. Very fast and accurate aiming. The only negative is I wish Midway sold just the individual sights alone. You can order each sight direct from KNS, but it would be nice if Midway carried them.

This is a very nice assortment of front posts in one package. I used the middle size ball end post on my RRA LAR-9. I did note that all of the posts were longer than the original stock post I was replacing. Other than that it was an easy trade out.

Great sight posts !!!! I plan on buying more. Every configuration you can think of, the great thing is I found sight posts that I really liked that I never would of thought of until they came in the assortment pack of different posts.

Picked these up because I found the standard AR front sight post too big for 100yd + work. So far I have experimented with the smallest bead and square post with good results. One point that confuses people is the description lists eight sights (3 bead, 3 square, 1 V notch, 1 inverted V) but there are only seven post pictured. The V notch and inverted V are machined on the same sight post. You just need to rotate it 90 degrees to choose which one. Good quality product at a bargain price. If you primarily shoot irons do yourself a favor and pick these up and see what they can do for your shooting!

A little pricey, but ...

A little pricey, but cheaper than the 9 dollar KNS post for my AK. I bought this to replace the sight post on my Troy Industries HK battle sight that I have on my MSAR for long distance shooting (used the V cut post) and used the thinnest Ball post on my MagPul MBUS that I have on my AK scope mount. These are way better than the standard AR sight posts, which will greatly add to long distance accuracy. "When the mushroom clouds go up, iron sights will rule the world."

This is a great assortment of front sight post pins. It comes with beaded pins and square posts at standard heights and the .040" taller ones as well. The V-notch post is very effective for long distances since it won't blot out the target. The finish and quality is what you would come to expect from KNS. This is an ideal purchase for owners of more than 1 AR.

Tired of having the same ole front site post for your AR, M16 or M4? Well KNS has this assortment package to help squeeze out more precision shots from your firearm. They offer 3 round posts, 3 square posts (one is the same size as the stock AR front site post) and then a V notch post. I think the smallest posts would help anyone with more precision shooting, but the best two in my opinion would be the smallest square post & the V notch post. These would help especially when shooting long distances and small targets. At times I shoot my Stag Arms M4 with a CMMG 22LR conversion bolt & split playing cards in half. I did this at 100', 150' and finally 300' and using the stock front site post blocks out the entire target. I have installed these sites - its easy with a small punch & wire to rotate the site out of the housing, then I will zero my sights and shoot some more cards, then give a more in depth review on this product, so that is the reason for the 4 stars. I imagine that they will perform well and eventually get 5 stars when I finish my review. If your looking for a way to get more from your AR/M16/M4 I suggest you pick up these sites from KNS. For the amount of money you spend you get a lot of options. BTW the add says you get three square posts, three round dot posts, one V-notch post, and one inverted V post (point up) and that equals 8 posts however there is NO V post that points up. - Steve aka SafeArmsReview
