Dollar for dollar you simply cant beat this mount. The fit and finish rival far more expensive mounts and the appearance is very clean. One of the details that you dont see in the picture or description is the washer assembly the sits inside of the thumb nuts, it makes a solid mount by hand a cinch. The combination of size and finish on the threads and knurling on the knobs will give you all the torque you need to lock this mount down and guarantee a reset to zero if removed. Scope bed was aligned and showed very little irregularity. Overall I would rate this product a great buy for the money, does it compare to some of the far more expensive products on the market? Well, not exactly but I would definitely put it up against mounts at two to three times the price.

Bought one of these for my 204 Ruger AR, it seems to be a little on the low side for a standard A3 Flat top rifle. Cosmetically this product is poor to good, anodizing is dull and seems to almost wipe off with your finger, and square corners make it look bulky. It holds a scope and holds zero without issue and I guess that is what it is built to do so I won't hammer it too bad. If you are building a hunting rifle you will drag around with you then this is perfect if you want it to be clean looking this is probably not the mount for you.

Purchased for a SWFA SS 10x42. Fits perfectly and provided the correct hight for an AR-10. Can't beat the price and quality.

Needed a scope mount that ...

Needed a scope mount that was solid and provided enough height for clearance of big scope. Bought this to mount a Barska Swat Tactical 6-24x60 scope on my Bohica MkIII 50BMG. Noticed that the rings needed to be lapped badly. Would damage scope if not properly prepared. Used a Wheeler lapping kit (also from Midway) to provide a perfect fit for the 30mm scope tube. All rings should be lapped before use, but these in particular.

I have these rings in both 30mm and 1inch, both sizes are very well made and mount securly onto my flat top AR's I also have 3 of the same type Armalite mounts that are no better than the Model1 mounts are. They hold scope securely though I do recommend lapping the rings, (I lap ALL my rings) I like the way they can be removed and replaced and return to zero, they are high enough to mount even large bell scopes and line up to your eye nicely. I like Model1 products as they are all well made, I will definetly use them again. Best mount avalible for the money.

Rock Solid Mount. This is the best deal for the money out there. Mounted on flattop AR-15 with Leupold Mark 4 8.5-20x 50mm that I use for bench shooting. Holding .5" groups consistently. The scope can't move.

Excellent mount, especially for the price. It's been used on a .50 BMG and has proven itself very sturdy. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality, when often you get what you pay for. In this case, you get more.

This mount is a great value for the money. Its a little higher than some one piece mounts like the Armalite, which works better for me and gives more clearance for back up sights or larger objectives. I used it to mount a Millet DMS-1, which works very well. You have to spend a lot more to get a better mount system.

Very nice mount for the money. Easily torques down with your fingers, with no need for tools. VERY sturdy, offset allows mounting of longer optics. I know people like to pay 3x as much for Larue, but I think your money is better spent elsewhere.
