For the money this scope is top notch...so far. Helped me pull off a .36" 3 shot group with my .22-250 the other day. No complaints yet.

Glad for everyone that has good luck with these. Mine was pretty dim above 16X and blurry at the edges. Worse was the tracking, point of impact would shift and it took a random number of clicks would bring it back only to shift again. This was on a .223 Savage.

Right out of the box the scope had issues. The reticule focus allows the mildot reticles to move back and forth and up and down if you unlock the reticle focus. Didnt even get to mount the scope.

Ive had this scope for two year, on my Remington 700 SPS Varmint, and at this time I plan on replacing it. It was clear when I first received it now its clarity has gone down the drain I carry this gun on a daily bases and it gets banged around in the truck. Also I have issues with it going two inches to the left, first I thought it was the mounts and tighten them down eventually replacing them with a leupold one piece and its still does it. I just wouldnt buy the scope if you use it like I do, just need something tougher. But for the first year or so I liked it but I think its time for a change for me.

I will start by saying I had a Bushnell Banner scope mounted on a Savage rifle and my friends nicknamed it The Hammer, it would drive tacks. So I picked up another one and mounted it on a Remington 700, I had problems with my point of impact changing depending on magnification setting, 8 power is the sweet spot. 8 power dead on, 24 power way high and to the right, VERY frustrating while shooting a new rifle and trying to work up a load. I rate 2.5 stars would be 5 if I had 2 great scopes in my gun rack.

I bought this scope to use for.22 silhouette matches. I have since used it on my 45-70. I thought the heavy recoil would do it in. But it is dead on at both 200 and 100 yards and has been for two years. The positive clicks are repeatable. They never change by more than 1 or 2 clicks at either range. A great scope at any price.

Awesome scope for the price. No issues to report. Sight adjustment knobbs are tight which allows for precise control and sound when adjusting, there is no question whether it was 1 click or 2 like I've experinced with cheaper scopes. Clear crisp image and nice focus.

Overall I would say that this is a reasonable starter scope. The higher magnifications can get a little fuzzy, the eye relief can be hit or miss. This is a pretty big scope. It looks very long on my Remington 700 sps. The first one that I ordered broke. The magnification locked at around 12x. Bushnell did send a replacement after a month of waiting and calling. If I could go back I would probably save a little more and try something a little nicer. I feel that a nicer scope (Nikon/Leupold/even a nicer Bushnell) with lower magnification would be more useful for target and varmint shooting than this.

I bought this scope thinking it would be as good as the banner 6-18x50. With the smaller diameter of the 8-24 it is lighter in weight but you have to be at just the right angle to get a clean view up to 18X. Over 18X the picture is not that clear. Get the 6-18 banner.

Got this scope to go on a NEF Survivor in .223. Provided good clarity up to 20-22X or so. Lost a little higher than that. Great scope for the price. Length of scope provides for generous placement. I would have to say the only reason I'm not putting it on my Savage 12 in .223 is that I'm getting it's big brother the Elite 4200.

Good light transmission and clarity at all power settings. Held POI well. When mounted on my 24" AR, I put 5 rds in a group that could be covered by a dime @ 100 yards. Planning to buy another one in the future.
