I went easy, but the first time I used it the pin bent like rubber. Don't waste your money. Some sort of hardening is needed

Easily replaces the previous punch I have been using. I had no difficulties with it, and with approrpiate care in use, as one would with any tool, should last a while.

3 soft strikes with a hammer trying to drive out the pin it was built to drive out broke this tool. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY on this piece of junk tool.

Using a small brass hammer, this punch starting bending after the first pin in, removed another pin, and it broke. Don't waste your money, look for a better punch.

Essential tool since this pin is an odd diameter compared to most roll pins. My tool has never bent or broken, but I make sure to line it up straight, and I use gentle taps of a small brass hammer - these tiny pins don't need a lot of muscle!

Has been a great tool, no problems. I have used this several times, both in building ARs, and also upgrading a couple of friend's ARs. I only use a 6 oz. ball peen hammer, so that may or may not be why mine has not bent.

Got one pin in with this with a lot of effort. Went to take a pin out (only 2nd time using it) and the punch snapped off. I had to scrap the punch and the gas block. pretty weak.
