This is a good product ...

This is a good product but not for the beginner. This sight must be shimmed or machined to achieve proper windage alignment. Vertical adjustment is also course.

Picked one up on sale to ...

Picked one up on sale to try on a Henry H001T 22 lever action, works good. The sight itself is pretty simple, threaded shaft for elevation, barrel type windage on the base that uses a small included wrench. Makes it difficult to adjust on the fly so it's a set and forget type sight. I bought the 1894 version and on the Henry it sits back far enough it could interfere with some peoples grip. I suggest the 9422 version and drill the 2 holes to keep the sight as far forward as possible without interfering with the hammer. Little less refined and finished than a Marbles or much more expensive tang sights, but its rugged and a decent budget alternative to a marbles, a good match for Henry's and Rossi's etc.
