A nice set of dies. Sizing die forms the case well enough for my AR15. No jams or the need to use forward assist. I bought a Lee rifle die for turret mounted powder charging using my Lyman #55 powder measure. The lyman measure w/ its drop tube fits the top of the die w/o modifications! The best thing going in this product is the factory crimp die. THe crimp formed is great, even and consistent and the die is not case length sensitive. Accuracy has been superb. My Colt carbine can do about an inch at 100 yds, no problem. With these features plus free shell holder, dipper and load data make me highly satified customer! Thanks to Lee!!

My other Lee dies are neck sizer collets for bolt actions. This full length sizer die when used on a lee single stage has no means to control the shoulder bump and in fact has marginal head space for an AR-15. The only way to fix this with Lee equipment is to shave .002" off the end of the die. The bullet seating die is awful. Again no way to control travel. This die will actually crush the shoulder as it must be machined wrong. Nothing to index cartridge length with internally and poor centering control of bullet. The collet crimp also has no control on the Lee single stage. I use Lee collet crimps on progressive presses and I can control crimp because the other dies create a stop to prevent over crushing the crimp. The only dies I will now buy for full length sizing are bushing sizers from RCBS or Redding and rcbs or Hornady seating dies.

I really enjoy my entire Lee set up, and these dies are not excluded. For the money, they cannot be beat as either a high volume loader or average shooter wanting consistent, high quality loads. I get very consistent results from them and when combined with the "breech lock" system from Lee it makes setup a breeze once you have a good formula figured out.

This is just one of the Lee Die sets I use. They work great for reloading .223 ammo. I reload 500 to 1000rds every 2 weeks, never had any issues.

Good as RCBS for less $

I use Lee dies in several calibers always with excellent results. Great accuracy and I have never stuck a case in these dies. Also, in the pacesetter set you get 3 dies for less than the cost of a 2 die set from the other brands. The only difference is that the outside of the Lee dies will tarnish more quickly from handling- not a problem if you wipe them down after use. At 60-75 percent of the price of other dies you can't go wrong.

These Lee dies are just perfect for all my reloading I do for my AR. You could spend more money on a set of dies, but you'd just be wasting your money. These dies perform just great and I saved enough money to buy more bullets to reload with.

These dies are OK. I just started reloading for my AR and have a lot of cases that have crimped primers. The sizing die has a hard time depriming most of the cases with the crimped primers. If I didn't have to stop and reset the depriming pin every so often I would rate this higher.

I have reloaded pistol for years, but just started on 223. Instead of my usual Lee dies I got a great deal on some green box dies. It was a bear to size them, the brass needed trimmed after each sizing, and brass stuck on a regular basis. Enough already, I got a set of Lee dies again. Sizing is a ton easier, brass does not stretch nearly as much, and no stuck cases yet. I will salvage the locking rings off the old dies though. The loaded ammo runs flawlessly through a mini-14.
