The Lee Load-All 2 offers the reloader a an inexpensive option when it comes to making cost effective shotgun shells. This press includes eight shot bushings that measure 7/8, 1, 1-1/8, 1-1/4, 1-1/2, 1-3/4 and 1-7/8 ounces. The 1-7/8 ounce bushing is a small tab that fits inside the charge bar. Also included with this press are sixteen powder bushings that measure: 095, 100, 105, 110, 116, 122, 128, 134, 141, 148, 155, 163, 171, 180, 189 and 198 cubic centimeters. Unlike other more expensive presses the Lee Load-All 2 also comes with 6 and 8 point crimp starters, safety charge bar, steel sizing ring, aluminum plate for primer catcher, spare wad guide, primer guide, spring and pin, one screw and two bolts with locking nuts. Additionally the 12 and 20 gauge models can load 3" shells without needing an expensive conversion kit.

Me, I was looking for a "portable" reload system to load a few 12 Ga hulls while I watch TV late at night. Lee doesn't make the old Lee Loader in 12 Ga anymore and MEC et al are far from "portable" so the Load All was picked for the job.I skipped mounting it to a board....I cut a piece of 1/4" Lexan the exact size and shape of the base and mounted an inverted front rest bag filled with about five pounds of sand under it. The bag fits my thigh perfectly and makes it so comfortable, I could forget it was there.Using it as a portable unit, it's "far" easier to do batches of hulls in steps. Deprimed and resize about a hundred hulls before moving on to priming etc.On the resizer collet....if you do it portable as I do, lay the press on it's back on your thigh so the stations are horizontal, not vertical. When you deprime one hull and force the resizing collet down over it, move it to the priming station to pop the collet loose....and leave the collet on the primer station thingy when you pull the hull off. Next hull, slip it over the primer station, slip the collet down over the new hull with your finger, and then take it back to the decapper/sizer station and pull the handle. It's one-handed decapping/resizing that literally takes two seconds per hull....and you don't even have to watch it. The resizing collet never comes off the machine, you don't have to fuss with it slipping it over each hull individually.Next station is priming. I bought the primer feeder....had no reason not to. Put bluntly, it's useless the way I use the press. It's still new in the box and will eventually go to EBay. Priming the portable way I do it, it's no problem at all to dump a tray of primers onto the desktop and feed them individually. Again, do an entire batch of hulls at once. Reprime that hundred or so and set them aside before moving on to the next step.Next is powder. Can't say enough about the bushings! Totally foolproof! Lee does go easy on the loadings, th

This machine is inexpensive and an easy way to reload a minimum amount of shells for waterfowl or upland hunting. It is not well suited for high volume loading for a day at the trap club. Also the mounting sysyem sent with the press lasted two handle pulls before it pulled right out of the bench I had mounted it to. I used small lag bolts and washers and this system works fine. You must take the press off the bench to empty the powder and shot hoppers and when dumping one it is very difficult to prevent the other from spilling. Also the crimp starter does not rotate into position like on my other presses so it is very easy to get the shell placed under the crimp starter so that it smashes the case mouth instead of starting the crimp. You must learn to feel it start correctly by the pull of the handle. Unless you plan on loading small amounts of shells for hunting I would make another choice and this is from a person who has more Lee tools than any other for both shotshell and rifle reloading.

unless you need to load many hundreds of shells at a time this loader is perfect for the weekend shooter. I can load a hundred shells from primer to finish crimp in about an hour.Once in a while it may not crimp a shell or two properly but does not happen often. I discovered that this happens if i try to speed load them.The price is right and gets you in the game faster if you don't have hundreds to spend. This keeps the shooting sport fun & cost effective. You won't compromise quality with this either. Do not let the plastic parts concern you, this product has been around for years and is time tested. The other great thing is all the parts are easily replaced.

Excellent product for the money. Does a good enough job. However I actually BLEW UP my first one. You need to make sure at all times that the primer station does not have a piece of shot in it. If it does while you are seating a new primer, you can detonate that primer. I assure you that the power of a 209 primer is nothing to disrespect. You will destroy your machine and be deaf for a few minutes. You will go "WTF!!!". You may need to change your underwear. You will reconsider reloading altogether. Use of safety glasses is strongly recommended. Other than that, it is a great machine for the casual reloader and I still use it (my new one that is).

Bought one of these while in Highschool in 1978 for 24.95(I believe was the going price back then) Since then I've loaded over 4000+ rounds of 12 gauge 2 3/4" and it still works fine. If it breaks tomorrow I'll be placing an order with MidwayUSA!

This Lee shot shell reloader works great, and the price can't be beat. The only problem I have is powder leaks out of the slide, but I just use my dispenser instead. I have loaded a lot of rounds with it and have not had any other problem with it.

I am new to reloading and I have reloaded about a 100 rounds of 00 buckshot with the lee load-all 2. the only problem I have had is getting the crimp to stay with 32.5 grains of Hodgdon hs-6 with Winchester AA wads in Winchester universal hulls and 9 00 buckshot. I lowered the grains to 30 and the crimps hold fine part of the problem could be that Im loading 00buck in a #8 target shotshell cause Im cheap but it works and saves lots of money from going out and buying the 00buck rounds. the only complaint I would have is that it seems to spill powder while loading. The powder will leak out from the top of the charge bar. Not too much is lost so not a big deal I just don't like to waste my powder, and you have to unbolt it from the bench to empty out remaining powder. Overall I find it a nice easy setup for just starting out with a great price and shipping you cant go wrong.

This is a really great entry level reloader. It is easy to set up and use. Even my 11 year old son can make factory perfect loads with it and does! He reloads all of his target and field loads with this. We have two of them, one set up for 20 gauge and one set up for 12 gauge.I'm taking away one star as the only drawback is the hoppers are not removable and you cannot change the charge bar bushings. Other than that (whether you're a casual or volume reloader) is fantastic.

This is the perfect press for relatively small production of heavy field and magnum loads. Light trap and field loads are cheap enough that I just buy the loaded ammo, but this press is saving me a lot of money on quality hunting loads and the production rate is entirely adequate for that purpose.But as others have noted here, it is not perfect and I rate it four stars overall (five for value!). A 1-3/8 oz shot bushing should be included in the kit (why not?) and the primers can bounce out of the priming pocket and jam under the head of the shell, if the sizing die removal and priming tasks are attempted in one step in station two, as described in the instructions. It's better to do it in two steps, as another reviewer recommended. I also agree with the other reviews that complain that the powder and shot must be dumped to change bushings. It would be nice to have a master shutoff for shot and powder, similar to the feature on the Lee Pro Auto Disk measure.On the other hand, I don't think it's worth buying an upgrade kit for the 20 ga. Why take the time to switch back and forth when an entire new press can be purchased for only a little more money? Just mount them on a board, as Lee recommends, and c-clamp the appropriate setup to your bench when needed.

Affordable and easy as pie. Main issue I had was with federal 6-crimp hulls. It wouldn't crimp right whereas I got a perfect crimp with the Winchester AA 8 crimp hulls.

This is my first loader, but so far it works great. It's cheap, and it works, I plan on making a lot of shells with this and I don't think it will let me down. So far I have only taken out the old primers of about 200 shells, but no problems yet.
