Lyman Improved Lube and Sizing Dies now have 90 degree hole spacing. It is now easy to lubricate bullets even with today's hard lubricants. Lyman sizing dies also feature a tapered mouth and hardened interior insuring alignment for perfect cylindrical shape. Interior dimensions correspond to suggested diameters for all popular rifle and handgun calibers. Fits Lyman 450/4500 Lube Sizer and RCBS Lube-A-Matic-2 Bullet Sizer/Lubricator. Sizer dies also help to crimp the gas check on the base of gas check style bullets.

I have a bullet with five ...

I have a bullet with five lube grooves. I push the bullet down into the die until the top lube groove is lined up with the top lube hole in the die. Give the lube handle a half turn and on the up stroke, the lower lube grooves are filled. Really like my Lyman lube dies! Also, Lyman concaves the center piston which produces a very nice gas check!

Look carefully at the ...

Look carefully at the picture of the die... You will see that Lyman has cheapened the manufacturing process by only drilling the top two rows of lube holes instead of the customary, alternating 4/3 rows. This makes the die utterly useless for longer/heavier bullets with two or more lube grooves, like the ones I cast for the .444 Marlin.
