This DPMS Free Float Vented Handguard for LR-308 platform rifles is constructed from lightweight extruded aluminum that is hard coat anodized for durability. The 12" Rifle Length Handguard is a great upgrade over a standard 2-Piece Polymer arrangement due to its free floating, accuracy enhancing potential that removes all shooter-induced pressure from the barrel. The handguard comes complete with a barrel nut.
