Product Information

A completely assembled steel bolt carrier assembly. Includes Bolt Carrier, Firing Pin, Bolt Assembly, Cam Pin and Firing Pin Retaining Pin. TiN (Titanium Nitride) is an incredibly hard material that dramatically reduces friction of high wear parts. Titanium Nitride is harder than chrome and has a gold appearance that will provide a custom look for any AR-15. Rockwell 80c hardness.

I picked this Bolt to use us on my AR build. The fit and finish are excellent, and it cycles super in my AR. You can't beat DPMS when it comes quality parts!

I have had this bcg for about a year and a half and put 1500 rounds through its grasp with no problems. It is a breeze to clean and looks great. People say that a coated bcg coming in contact with a non coated hammer or buffer will create excessive wear but I don't see any significant wear. I will buy one for my next build.

The bolt carrier group came fully staked and assembled ready to drop in and shoot. I love it! Much smoother operation than your basic BCG and very easy to clean. It also solved problems with shells not feeding right or all the way in.

This thing looks awsome, and works smooth as silk. I can load a shell even if holding back on the charging handle and "laying" it against the end of the round in the mag. I really only expected looks from the extra $20 investment, and I got that in spades! It looks really sweet with my camo job (plenty of tan in it), and matches the gold aftermarket trigger beautifully. I could stare at it all day, but the real fun is in shooting it!

I bought this nearly a year ago based on the recommendations of a friend. He explained that this TiN BCG would be a lot easier to clean and keep clean then the standard BCG. I'm all for that idea. My experience has found this to be true. I clean the BCG after every use at the range or where ever. The Build-Up pretty much just wipes off and looks pretty much like new. I do soak the carrier over night in cleaner after excessive use to help remove any deposits. I found that in most cases I really don't need to though. I've read that you should have a spare Firing Pin and Bolt. When I first started looking at these Midway had them both a few months back. Now I don't see either. Even at DPMS, these items are not available. Only the trigger and the complete BCG. I'm starting to wondering why. If there is an issue I'de like to know. Haven't seen any yet beside getting spare parts. If DPMS is discontinuing this product for what ever reason, I'de like to know why. I'm in the process of another build and was thinking of getting another one. But if it is going to be a discontinued product.... well...

Works very well, almost seems that it self lubricates. Low maintenance and an oiled cloth easily removes any carbon deposits. The little bit of flash looks great too. Very satisfied.

Excellent replacement for ...

Excellent replacement for standard bolt carrier group. Includes TiNi bolt, firing pin, gas key, and bolt key. makes for a very nice looking rifle. Only problem I have seen is that it IS so very much harder than the other parts in the rifle. I have fired about 200 rounds through my AR Carbine since buying this part, and already see quite a bit of wear on the hammer, as well as a circular wear pattern on the buffer. If you intend to use this part for high volume shooting, I would recommend getting the matching TiNi hammer, and a cheap buffer pad for your buffer.

Well worth the extra money invested. I have had it out on the range twice and it cleans up quickly after setting in Simple Green about 10 min. It is really smooth. Also bought the Hammer, Trigger and disconnector. The trigger pull is very smooth. Great investment for the money.
