Product Information

Hodgdon Triple Seven granular powders leave no sulfur odor and leave less residue in the barrel for much easier cleaning. It produces the highest velocities by volume of other granular muzzleloading propellants, and as a result produces flat trajectories.

Important Information:

Do not exceed the loads displayed in the reloaders guide.

Never mix any two powders regardless of type, brand, or source.

Never substitute any smokeless powder for Black Powder or any Black Powder substitute.

Triple Seven makes ...

Triple Seven makes cleanup a snap! And, I can shoot 10 or 12 times before I need to run a wet patch. I shoot a Hawken type rifle that I made from scratch and it has seen a lot of black powder but not anymore.

I just purchased a can of ...

I just purchased a can of Triple 7 FFFG as a comparison to its FFG counterpart. I used two identical Marlin MLS 50 muzzleloading rifles. Wow! The FFFG has a really distinguishable "crack" for a report, true testimony to its added velocity. Both rifles wear 22" stainless barrels, similar Nikon scopes, and use CCI #11 magnum caps for ignition. I got routine 2 1/2" groups at 100 yards with the rifle firing FFG and Power Belt 245's. The rifle shooting FFFG simply shoots one hole at 50 yards, and sub-MOA at 100! Throw in the true three patch water/solvent cleanup, and all I can say is it is making history today. Don't miss out on a product that will make your life easier.

I use Triple Se7en FFFg ...

I use Triple Se7en FFFg in my T/C .45 cal Omega. This is very consistent. With Hornady's 200 gr SST and 777 FFFg I get 1" or less groups. The best part is the easy clean up. I run a wet patch of T/C #13 followed by a dry patch between each shot. When I put the gun away for awhile I run #13 followed by Bore Butten and have never had one trace of rust. Fantastic product.

I have used both Hodgdon ...

I have used both Hodgdon Triple 777 powders FFg and the FFFg granulations. They are both great powders but for my knight rifles, the FFFg powder seems to develop more speed and accuracy than the FFg triple 777. It is the difference between 1 inch 3 shot groups at 100 yards and sub moa with my two 50 Caliber Knight Disc Elite rifles.
