For the money you cannot beat this case. My 12 gauge Weatherby fits comfortable in the case. It has done a good job of protecting my shotgun and looks good too. It has the expected dividers, pockets, and padding to keep your gun's finish safe. You can spend a lot more on a fancier case but that case won't work any better than this one.

I bought this case for my ...

I bought this case for my CZ over-under, but it does not have enough internal padding between the barrels and the receiver. The barrels have left ding marks in my stock from being transported in this case. I have had to stuff extra rags in the case to provide more protection between the barrels and the receiver. Now shopping for a different case.

A very nice case for the money. Remember, you can carry most take down rile and shotguns with a barrel length of up to 28, or possibly more inches in this case. I especially like the pouch design. Use it for my entire takedown pump guns. I would happily recommend this item to anyone that needs a well made take down case.

Glad I got this. I took a chance because my application for this case is a scoped Remington Spartan single shot take down rifle with a 24 inch barrel. I wasn't worried about length but was worried the scope wouldn't fit. The inside compartments are not pictured in the product info. They are lengthwise Velcro full length fastened compartments and my scope fit fine. The case also fits my Scoped Handi-Rifle and an old 30 inch barreled take down scatter-gun, each just fine.

This case is excellent for discreet carry of military style rifles and shotguns that can be easily broken down. It is long enough to hold a disassembled, full sized AR-15/10 type rifle, M1A or M1 Garand, HK 91/93, folding stock AK-47 types or Galil, Steyr AUG, and even a bolt action rifle with up to a 24" barrel and scope mounted with stock removed. Black tactical cases with numerous magazine pouches literally scream "military rifle inside", but a short, green case with brown, fake leather trim does not attract much attention from paranoid types. It is very quick and simple to put the barreled action and lower/stock together, then push two pins or snap in a trigger assembly and pop in a magazine to make the rifle ready for action. The wider of the two full length pockets inside the case will hold most black rifle upper assemblies and M1A or bolt action rifle stocks. The narrower barrel pocket can hold magazines and tools securely. I sometimes carry my Remington 700 heavy barreled .308 rifle disassembled with tools in this U.M. case which many mistake for a clarinet case. The only improvements would be rings at each end for attaching a sling and making the case available in brown color.

Just got this thing ...

Just got this thing today. Looks good. Well made. I like it. Only thing I don't like about it, and the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, is the fact that there is not a speck of leather anywhere on it. It is advertised as leather, but, I looked very closely, it's vinyl. It's still a good case, but it's not leather. I don't think it's Midway's fault. the tag on it from Uncle Mike's claims it's leather. It's a very good case for the money, but if you really want leather corners, this isn't it.

Outsranding quality and value. Yes it is leatherette not leather but it fits my 870 with police top folder and my winchester 1200 side folder beautifully.
