The Export Magazine (EMAG) is a lightweight 30 round polymer magazine optimized for the HK 416 and the British SA-80 while maintaining full compatibility with the AR-15 platform. The smooth outer shell permits easy removal from multiple magazine pouches. The MagLevel indicator provides fast and accurate identification of the ammunition status and the included dust cover (which stores on the bottom of the magazine when not in use) protects the feed lips from damage and fatigue.

Works great in my fn scar and standard AR. Pmags tend to stick in the scar.

I was pleased to discover Midway now ships the second generation Emag (2 windows). Any extra money spent on these is money well spent over the GI stainless or aluminum magazines. I honestly can't understand how or why anyone even uses them anymore since the MagPul is so inherently superior in design, material, craftsmanship, performance, etc. If you buy one you will soon be buying more to replace every magazine you own.

These are great ...

These are great magazines. They drop free from all of my ARs and are very tough and durable. They are easy to load and so far I have not had a single magazine-induced jam with them. They also come with a dust cover that can be taken off and clipped on the bottom when not in use. I will definitely buy more of these.

Overall excellent quality and feels very well built. The plastic window was much more sturdy than expected. Loads / unloads smoothly.Purchased this for my SCAR and it works as advertised (drops free unlike others). I will definitely purchase again.

I've used MagPul Pmags for years now and have always been impressed with their durability, build quality, and low weight. I've used them in the field, in training and at the range under brutal conditions with 100% reliability. Recently, I've been running a Lewis Machine & Tool Piston MRP and unfortunately, have found the standard Pmag to not drop free (without some sanding) due to a tight mag-well on the LMT. Based on a suggestion, I decided to try the Emag as a remedy.Emags are 100% drop-free with all the other positive qualities I've come to expect from they're mags. Additionally, the smooth sides fit better in my pouches. If you're having a similar issue with a tight mag-well on your stick, I highly recommend giving the Emags a try.

Great Mag...I was looking for a lighter and less expensive alternative to my HK mags. for my AR, So I took a gamble and was very pleased. I like the smooth surface rather than the ribbed, they feel great and are thin and light. The bullet window works well with 25/15/5 round marks with a red indicator on the spring, makes for a quick round check. Overall a very good mag and would be my choice of all the Pmags out there.
