Wow is all I can say. I teamed this saboted bullet with blackhorn 209 and my knight lk-93 at the range I shot a sub 2 inch group at 150 yards the first three shots after sighting in the scope. Three days later I was presented a neck shot only on a nice whitetail at 120 yds. The bullet went through the spine and ended up under the hide it is still all there in the star shape they always picture. Three petals were pushed back a little further from the way it passed through the bone, and bullet weight was 324.97 grains.

These are the best ...

These are the best bullets I've ever tried, and I've tried several! I shoot FFg black powder out of a .54 cal Knight MK-85 muzzleloader and take primarily neck shots. Even blasting through the thick neck bones of deer, I've yet to recover one of the bullets. They penetrate to no end and cause massive damage to anything they hit. The accuracy is also outstanding, otherwise I wouldn't be comfortable taking neck shots if it wasn't. I've taken approx. 20 deer with these bullets. Every one has been hit right where I was aiming, and every one crumpled on the spot. These are great bullets that you can't go wrong with.

After getting yesterday's ...

After getting yesterday's stuck bullet out by adding black powder through the flash liner, I retrned to the range today for three more shots. I used a rubber mallet and gently tapped three more bullets into the bore, then used a .50" wooden dowel and the mallet to seat them. At 50 yards these produced a 1" group. That's right. A 1" group. I also lubed the sabots with Dillon's case lube. The plastic fouling was extreme. But wow they are accurate. Is this a powerful enough load to hunt deer?

Have used these to ...

Have used these to harvest 3 nice whitetails over the past 2 years and they perform flawlessly.All deer were DRT, hardly took another step. I was able to recover one that passed through the chest and ended up just under the hide on the opposite side. PERFECT mushrooming and it weighed in at 324 gr. after I cleaned it up. Accurate to under 1-1/2 inches @ 100 yds from an T/C Omega with a 3-9x Bushnell scope. If you are looking for a well made bullet that works as advertised, consider it.

I use these in my .54 ...

I use these in my .54 Marlin. I have taken 3 deer from 32 yards to 64 yards, the bullet performed perfectly. All were complete pass through shots, all went through both lungs and exited leaving a very nice channel. I practice with them also to make sure They perform and hit where I aim. I shoot up to 200 yards and have consistently hit a steel 9" plate at 200 yards. All three deer did not go more than 20 yards. I'm very impressed with this bullet but it is a Barnes!!
