Designed with law enforcement, target shooters, and serious hunters in mind, the Millett Tactical Series scope features options not found on most scopes today. Side focus range knob is clearly marked and can easily be read from the shooting position, along with the 1/10 MIL windage and elevation adjustment marks. Ill. Mil-Dot model features adjustable green crosshairs for low light situations. Heavy-duty 30mm aluminum tube is nitrogen filled to be guaranteed fogproof, waterproof and shockproof. This is my third Millett tactical scope (1 TRS2 10X fixed, and one other TRS1 4-16 mil/mil). Used these on rifles from .22LR to .223 to .308 and they just work. The mil dot/.1 mil adjustment is a great combo and so easy to use once you get the mil-dot use as second nature. They hold zero very well, and the side focus is a joy to use. The 'tactical' turrets work just fine with well-defined clicks. If you are looking for an affordable scope that just works, these are quite nice.

Like a lot of you guys I was happy ...but not for long. I have returned my 3rd or 4th scope...I lost track of how many !! They need to sit down and re-engineer this one. On the first scope I thought I had not tightened the rings enough as the cross hairs looked like they were moving counter-clockwise after every few rounds. So I re-set it with the hairs centered and began over with setting zero! It did again...then I took a closer look...the GLASS is actually turning slowly to the 11 o'clock then 10 o'clock. Well, that's a first for me. Sent it in and received a brand new one.....went to the range and started from scratch again. After about 20-30 rounds I notice the focus knob is kind of loose...then it wouldn't adjust at all....and then the knob started to feel as if it were going to fall off into my hand !! Sent it in and received another brand new one. Went to the range.....this is really getting old !! Now guess what ??!! The zoom control turns the entire back end of the scope...you know what I mean ?....the illumination knob spins around so it's never in the same place. It's supposed to be at about 2 o'clock...not mine... it's a watch, I can tell time with this thing. I sent this one in and I'm waiting to get another brand new scope....then ya know what ??!! It goes straight on Ebay !!! I'm sick of this.

Super Scope for the money

Mounted it on my Armalite AR-10. It REALLY is clear and (so far, several 100 rounds of 308) never "walked".
I several Leoupold scopes that are as good as this one, but cost 2-3 times more.
I really like the lighted reticlue and the AO for estimating distance.
If I could sell some other scopes I'd buy more of these.
Recommended to several friends and they are as pleased as I am!!

As we all know there are exception to the rule of quality in practically everything. That being said, I have three of these scopes. One mounted on an AR15, one on a Browning .270, and one on a Savage 7mm Mag. All three have been flawless in their performance. The glass is as good as any Nikon or Leupold scope I have ever used. They have more well thought out options (readable turret and focus with the rifle mounted, built in caps, resettable target turrets, sun shade, etc.) than scopes costing hundreds more. I did the ballistic calculations and taped my table on each gun. Without fail, I dial in the mil correction for the distance, and I'm right on target. Assuming of course that my wind calculations are on. From 100 to 600 yards, all adjustments have been spot on. For those that would insist on a Schmidt Bender, US Optics, or Night Force, at 5 times the price; I would say that they cannot possibly demonstrate 5 times the quality or performance. I'm a working gunsmith and have used every scope out there, and for my money, you simply cannot beat this Millet TRS-1.

This thing ROCKS. It zeroed easy, passed the box test, passed from 50 to 200 yds with very good results. This is a solid scope. Recently got a Vortex Viper that was more $, but hardly better. I like both, bought both, will use both, but Millet is a true value!

Good value for the price. I mounted it on my DPMS AR-15 in .223 with a high rise mount, and I'm getting 1 moa at 200 yards unsupported from prone position using 55 gr. ammo. Lighted reticle is very cool for late day varmint shooting. I also like the AO adjustment feature. My only concern is Chinese origin of manufacture. I'm trying to buy more American on these kinds of purchases.

I am very impressed with this scope. The glass is as clear as my Nikon. The features and quality of this scope warrant a price 3 times what I paid for it. I had never heard of Millett before, but I would definitely buy another. I have it mounted on my Remington 700 Varmint Tactical .308 and I am thrilled with the combination, though it might be a bit heavy for hunting purposes (let's face it, it's a big scope). I was almost instantly hitting a 10" gong at 400 yards with a consistency that almost made it less fun. Can't afford a Leupold, Nightforce, or Swarovski? Don't pass on a Millett.

I have this on an Olympic Arms target/match 223 and have shot 2" groups at 600 yards consistently. I shoot the 69 gr. ammo. I love this scope as I am sure the local coyote population does not. Am thinking about getting another for my R-25 308 for some serious yote busting.

At first I was extremely pleased with this scope in every way. After 300+ rounds of .308 the scope doesn't hold a zero. Will return under warranty. Note - had an Osprey fail to hold focus and its been many months of promises, the first one they sent had a crooked reticle and still waiting. Thats why I changed brands to Millet. Is it true there's no affordable scope that won't fall to pieces eventually?

Great scope for the price. mounted on my Remington 788 in .308 and hold zero like a champion. I used the Millett low rise rings for it. good solid rings and scope. Clear glass and user friendly knobs for easy adjusting.
