Product Information

Hornady lead bullets are pre-lubricated, extra-hard and cold swaged for total uniformity and balance. The exclusive knurling system retains lubricant over the entire bearing surface to reduce leading in your barrel. The Wadcutter design features a sharp shoulder which is made to cut a clean, round hole in a paper target. Perfect for paper target shooting. 95% lead, 5% Antimony.

I am now on my 2nd box of these, but I use them in 32 ACP. I own several 32 auto pistols and this bullet will work in all of them, but the OAL varies from one to the other. .955-.960" generally works with just enough crimp to chamber. What I like about this bullet for range use is that it leave a nice clean hole in the target.

I just got into the 32 mag and have a bunch of 32 Long brass. You can seat these bullets fairly long in the case for better accuracy. When you seat them at the regular 32 Long overall length they have a jump before they hit the throat. The length to the shoulder is about the same as an empty 32 mag case.

I'm using this bullet over gentle loads for my vintage .32 S&W Long revolver.Shoots very clean, seems to be very uniform for weight, length, and diameter. VERY good price, too. This bullet is hard to beat for the right application.

Oh MAN I cannot express how GREAT these are. I got 1000 of them for reloading in my 1895 Nagant and they are AMAZING. Very accurate, easy to load, and the price cannot be beat.

I have shot close to 5000 of these fine bullets in both of my Ruger SSM's 32 H&R Mag revolvers. These also seem to shoot better with a heavier crimp. They are still a great bargain with today bullet prices. I rate these at 4 1/2.

This is the perfect bullet for reloading for vintage 32 S&W Long power levels. It is easy on old barrels and amazing accurate with the tiny powder charges I use for something pushing 100 years old. It is cleaner than a cast bullet with lube in the grooves too.

I load these in 30/30 ...

I load these in 30/30 sized to .309" with 3.5 gr. AA#2, makes a great small game load. (case necks do get very dirty) Lee .309" size die used. One hole groups at 25 meters, does not damage much meat.

I have used this bullet in my #@ H&R mag (Ruger SP101). With 5.2 grains of AA#5 I get about 990 fps and good accuracy. the bullets are hard and do not deform in soaking wet phone books but penetration is very good, comparable with 9 MM 125 gr JHP in the same media. Plus you can crimp them anywhere on the shank as there is no grove, just a nice smooth surface for the case mouth to dig in to. I have used about 1000 of them. The semi wadcutter is easier to chamber than a full wadcutter. Also the JHP's in this caliber do not expand any significant degree at this velocity level (1000 fps) so the only benefit to a JHP is a cleaner bore etc.
