Magpul quality all the way. The unit mounts to the rail like it was welded. I like the way the loop cants in towards the rail making it less prone to snagging. Delivers with a hex wrench even! Be sure to use some Blue Loctite

I concur with all the opinions expressed, so instead of repeating what's been said, let me add something that has NOT...If you are right-handed (like me), and you mount the RSA far front left side, loop facing upwards, when you transition from 2-point to 1-point, the loop can be used as a handhold reference point (I put my thumb into the loop), similar to the military method of putting the tip of your nose against the charging handle... Well worth the money, in my opinion.

Like just about everything that I have purchased that has been made by MagPul, this is well constructed and fits easily. You can fit it onto any rail as long as you have about an inch to spare. It measures just under an inch wide, and at two inches long from the outside tip of the loop to the retaining screw. It is finished in a nice matte black finish.

Bullet proof, bomb proof, and idiot proof! A spectacular addition to any tactical rifle rig. Functions great and couldn't have been built tougher. Great front mount for my three point sling. Love it!

5-star Hooyah! Big, smooth opening and bombproof mount that's so easy a gorilla could clip it. Leave it to Magpul to fab a sling mount for non-sling slings--you know what I'm talking about.Well, I thought about this product even before the MS2 Sling was born. Leave it to Magpul to fab something so simple and tough. Everyone should have one or more of these because if your vehicle is in a ditch and you can get a hook in this, well, pull with confidence. Great made in USA product fit and function.
