GameKing Bullets are designed for hunting at long range, where their extra margin of performance can make the critical difference. GameKing bullets feature a boat tail design to bring hunters the ballistic advantage normally found with match target bullets. This bullet was designed as a high velocity bullet for use in the 338 Winchester Magnum and performs outstanding in this cartridge. Shooters using 338-06 or other similar cartridges must load this to near maximum velocities for reliable expansion.

I prefer heavier bullets ...

I prefer heavier bullets for hunting but the 215 gr Sierra's give excellent accuracy and I load them for practice shooting.A few months ago we took a 150lb boar with this bullet at 150yds. The bullet hit just behind the left shoulder and exited behind the right shoulder leaving a 2" exit and dropping the boar like a cheap toilet seat. It also blew all the hair off the hide in a six inch circle surrounding the exit wound. The bullet was loaded to 2700 fps at the muzzle, not a really hot load. I was impressed with its performance. I have a question for Shawn Kelly. "Did the Elk Die?

Have been using this bullet for three years...and Sierra bullets for the past thirty five...in the past had used the Sierra 250 Game King with great results; game and target...the 215 Game King is a little more "reasonable" for deer...have used it on marmots, elk, prairie dogs, and coyotes, DEVASTATING, and ACCURATE in close and at a distance. I shoot a older Model 700 BDL chambered in .338 Win. Mag. Great bullet...as always with Sierra...fair price. Thanks for your time...

I used this bullet with my 338/06 Mauser and E.R. Shaw barrel in Africa last April. Loaded with IMR 4350, I took six animals - Gemsbok, Impala, Wildebeest (520lb.), Warthog, Kudu and Blesbok. 5 out of six one shot kills, and the 5 dropped where they stood. Accurate and deadly and a conventional bullet that is hard to beat.

This is a great bullet for my 338 Fed. Shoots sub MOA at 2250 fps. It's a good bullet also in my 338 Win Mag but beats everything in the Federal except the Barnes 210 ttsx which is a tie for accuracy & much more costly.

Shoots accurately at chronographed velocities up to 2780FPS with loads using RL15 and H380 in my 338-06.I have taken two elk with this bullet and penetration was exceptional.

I shoot these bullets out of my custom built 338/378 Weatherby for cheap practice, and I will be hunting deer with them this season as well. Using Hodgdon Retumbo, they have a muzzle velocity of 3500 fps. and shoot 3/4" 3 shot groups at 200 yards. Absolutely, superb accuracy. Plus, they're half the price of almost everything else in .338 caliber.

Have shot these 215s out of my 338, 340 wtby, 338 edge and 338 Lapua. Works every time, example 340 at 3117fps, 4pt Roosevelt elk at 692 lbs field dressed {capstain winch} 31yds lung shot. bullet perfect far side hide. The elk walked about 20yds and collapsed. I like it.

Very accurate using 57 grains of H414 with a recently built Adams & Bennett 338\o6 using a VZ24 Mauser receiver. I was able to print a .728" 5 shot group at 50 yds. And a 1.290" 3 shot group at 200 yds.

These are great bullets. In Colorado 2005, I shot a mule deer at 405 yards (rangefinded) with this bullet in my Model 70. It was a decent sized animal and the bullet went clean through with devastating results. The deer was dead before it hit the ground. These bullets reload and are very accurate and deadly on mid-sized game.
