This is an excellent choice for a factory rifle trigger upgrade. This Bench Rest Trigger comes preset from the factory at 2 oz and is adjustable from 1-1/2 to 3 oz. Includes no provision for a safety and no bolt release. This single stage trigger is designed to fit in most Remington style actions including the 700, 7, 40X, Stolle, Shilen, Hall, Wichita, Farley, Nesika and Bay rifles, right hand only. Gunsmith fitting recommended.

I swapped the original ...

I swapped the original trigger for this splendid stainless unit in a 40x that I had converted to fire .17 HM2. This trigger is so vastly superior. Its great multilever design gives it an amazingly crisp, sensitive yet predictable feel. I have been able to keep it set at two ounces and it has maintained its consistent feel and pull weight after many rounds. This is by far the sturdiest, most consistent and reliable unit I have tried at these very light settings. The installation was quite simple. I did have to moderately mill out the back of the unusual aluminum trigger guard on my rifle because the Jewell unit sits back a tad more than the original trigger. All of the Jewell's adjustments work splendidly and reliably- just follow the instructions and of course, do a series of "bump" tests to make sure that you will be safe. You can reach all three of the adjustments with your Allen wrench at any time. There is absolutely no takedown or fussing with adjustment locking screws required. I do notice a miniscule level of overtravel remaining in my particular trigger. This doesn't surprise me because the trigger is simply so light and sensitive. I am unable to remove this tiny overtravel completely, but that doesn't bother me in the least. Now, I am able to shoot my rifle with much greater accuracy and confidence. This is a splendid and beautiful trigger. It is worth every penny.

The best addition to my rifle to date. Clean, Crisp, Consistent tripper break. Still holding a 2 oz pull after more than 200 rounds.Easy to install and adjust!

I just installed this ...

I just installed this trigger in my XR-100 22-250. This is my 3rd Jewell trigger and all are excellent performers. Installation is very simple and the instructions are easy to follow. Once you shoot a rifle with this trigger in it you will have to have them in everything you own.
