Rooster PDQ-21 case sizing lube is an excellent spray on lube. This high-tech extreme pressure lube spreads easily on its own and dries quickly. The best application method is to spread cases out on a flat clean surface and mist them lightly, after they have been coated roll the cases back and forth to help guarantee an even coating on the cases. Will not affect powder or primers.

Absolutely the best ...

Absolutely the best performance in the die, but somewhat sticky and messy compared to products like One-Shot. If you wait a long time between application and use it won't disappear like lighter sprays. It has an interesting, earthy and somewhat over-powering scent if used in close quarters. The essential lube for forming dies.

Sized 3000 5.56 cases ...

Sized 3000 5.56 cases tonight (1000 each with 3 different lubes) with no problems. I've tried Imperial paste wax and Iosso in a pump bottle as well as Lee (cut with water and/or rubbing alcohol and straight) and even used Mobil 1 for a while (dont laugh it works great but makes a mess). The three received from MidwayUSA yesterday all worked great. The Rooster PDQ-21 and Frankford Arsenal are about the same and each bottle should last around 8000-9000 cases but use them in a well ventilated area, they smell terrible. The Sharp Shoot R Royal (aerosol) worked just as well but has a less obnoxious odor. I used the same lube method on all. Spread out on a cookie sheet, spray, shake, spray, dump in a sealed tub and roll it around for 20 seconds and then let dry. No cases stuck in my small base die and clean up is a snap with all three.

I size 5000+ rounds ...

I size 5000+ rounds annually in 223, 6mmBR, 308, and 6.5x284. In my quest for the holy grail of case lubricants I have used many products from many manufacturers in both aerosol and liquid forms. Rooster PDQ-21 is by far the best for standard reloading procedures and if they don't change their formula this is the only lubricant I will buy. It's fast and easy to apply, works great, and is easily removed by hand or tumbling. It does have a nasty smell so use in a well ventilated area.

Great stuff. Doesn't take ...

Great stuff. Doesn't take much and no waiting time like One Shot. It has a very overpowering odor so use with good ventilation. I found it comes off best in the tumbler. Use it sparingly and you'll love it.

I had been out of the ...

I had been out of the shooting sports for 10 years and decided to get the Dillon 550B out and load some rounds. I had used Midway's and Dillon's spray lube years ago when the transition from the RCBS pad occurred. Both products had become unusable from sitting on the shelf...so, on a components order, I added a bottle of the Rooster Lube. I tumbled and cleaned cases for the loader. Well, upon spending considerable time cleaning becoming familiar again with loader, I proceeded. After lubing cases and die per instructions, I immediately had 3 stuck cases. Tore down die each time and re-cleaned. Went to store and bought RCBS spray lube and system worked perfectly. So, beware of this product.

This is some nasty ...

This is some nasty smelling stuff but it worked great on 45-70 Nickel cases where Hornady One Shot failed. Use this product for the tough ones. UseHornady One Shot for the easy ones.
