Great punch set, but the ...

Great punch set, but the wooded case does not come with a top. The box looks like it is supposed to have a lid because it is recessed. Impossible to carry in tool box like it is.

After about a year of ...

After about a year of using these punches, the 1/16" punch snapped like a twig at the base of the punch. The other punches have grown in OD due to the soft metal expanding from the hits. They are 2 piece cheap steel punches that somehow did not get hardened. I did get some use out of these punches and the larger ones are only slightly bent and squashed instead of completely broken.

I purchased this kit for ...

I purchased this kit for installing the parts on a stripped AR15 lower receiver. I expected some cheap punch pin set that would break after 1 use. Instead I got some top quality tools!!This set offers a high bang for the buck factor in that it includes a center punch and brass drift along with 5 popular punch sizes.If you have an AR15 and need to get a punch set for those pesky pins, I would look no further. Starrett would be my first choice in machine tools, but they cost a great deal more.
