First of all I am not a high volume reloader (maybe 150 rounds a month sometimes more or less) but I still look for quality in my work. And in this context I have to say that most of my reloading bench-ware is from Lee and serves wonderfully for me and that for many years. I love their products--you get good quality for a small prize as many have stated before. And their primer pocket cleaner is no exception. To make things easer for me I made a little contraption so the cleaner works even better for me; actually I just drilled a hole through a small wooden board and pushed the pocket cleaner halfway through (so it sticks out at both ends; the knurled center keeps it in place). Then I clamp the board next to my press so that the cleaner side extends a little from the bench. After decapping a case I put it on the cleaner and twist it a few times (the case that is) then I place it in the reloading tray for the next step. This works just great for me. It also has several nice side effects: First if I would have to change from large to small primer pocket I just have to flip the board. Second since the cleaner is fixed it doesnt roll around or drops from the bench. Third, loosing it would be pretty hard since it is attached to a piece of wood.

I have not experienced them wearing out in 100 uses, I have about 500 pockets scraped and they keep on removing powder. It doesn't remove every spec of powder, but it gets enough of it out to make the ultrasonic time a lot less to make them sparkling clean. If you expect a $4 product to last forever and do a perfect job, you have unrealistic expectations. BTW when this thing does wear out, they make files to fix the dullness issues.

Great little tool. Just the right size to give a quick twist with the fingers. Both primer sizes in one tool. Stays sharp. Doesn't gouge or scratch the pocket like brushes can. For the price, cannot be beat.
