The American Defense AD-68C Cantilever 30mm Quick-Release Picatinny mount features a lower 1?3rd co-witness when used on an AR15, M16 or M4 flattop with Mil-Spec size iron sights. It is precision machined from 6061 T6 aluminum and finished in hard coat T3 Mil-Spec anodize. It features the patent pending Auto Lock Lever system to accommodate both in spec and out of spec rail systems.

The "American Defense ...

The "American Defense AD-68C Cantilever" mount is a great military-grade tactical optic mount designed for heavy usage. This scope mount would be equally well suited for tactical purposes by law enforcement or military professionals or by civilians in competition settings. One of my favorite features of this mount is the Auto Lock Lever which will not come open accidentally during rough handling in the field. That's a really important feature for those who will use this mount attached to a weapon used on active duty or during competition. The mount includes a tube of Vibra-Tite thread locking compound for ease of installation, which really shows consideration by the manufacturer. This mount will work great with an Aimpoint CompML3, Burris SpeedDot, Vortex StrikeFire, or similar 30mm tube red dot sight and will easily attach to any Mil-Spec 1913 Picatinny rail. Also, a major plus, the AD-68C Cantilever mount can be used in conjunction with the "American Defense AD-68H" (high) 30mm optic mount for use with a tactical magnifier like the "Mako Magnifier" or similar giving the weapon operator co-witness capabilities. MidwayUSA has done it again and brought us yet another great product.
