The Arsenal, Inc. Optimized Picatinny-Style Scope Mount provides a rigid platform with a Picatinny rail system. This mount can be used for virtually all scopes and optic devices with zero movement. Equipped with an adjustable quick-release lever mechanism allows you to remove and re-install your scope without losing zero. Fits on all standard military AK receiver side scope rails.

As an answer for the above mentioned comment about the rail being offset 1/4" to the right:There are many various side rail bases for the AK / SVD / SKS platform. Their construction and geometry varies wildly. It is not the fault of Arsenal Inc. that various side plates will place their rail into slightly different positions. I mounted side rails on two of my CZ 858 rifles and they work very well with Arsenal's scope mount. However, it did take some research to find out which side plate to get. I got different side rails from Kalinka Optics and found the one that positioned the Arsenal mount perfectly. I wish Arsenal would make a side plate as well so that we would not have to hunt for a third party rail.

Very well made product. Works as advertised. Can be adjusted to your AK side base. I have several different side bases and they are not consistent in size. Do not blame this mount if you find it too loose or too tight on an AK base. Adjust it and it will be perfect.

Bought this for a Romanian SAR-1 and it fits good and locks up solid. Problem is that it sits approximately 1/4" off center to the right. I will return it.

Design, fit, and finish ...

Design, fit, and finish are top notch. Mount retains zero after being removed then remounted multiple times. Best of all, this is a tool-less mount. Other aftermarket mounts may require a screwdriver to tighten after re-mounting. Hint 1) Use extended scope rings if your scope is longer than 10 inches. 2) Use loc-tite on the two screws holding the rail to the mount if you are worried about losing zero.

Bought this scope rail ...

Bought this scope rail even though there were others out there that where less expensive. I've always had a great experience with Arsenal equipment and this was no exception. Rail feels very solid on my arsenal AK. Unlike some other rails for the AK you cannot use the iron sights under the arsenal system as it sits close to the top of the receiver, so take that into account if you want that option. The positives with such a close mount is that you don't have such a high cheek weld (if that's important to you) and the ability to remove the whole mount quickly probably takes care of any reason you would need to switch to irons. Great looking/feeling product, haven't used it yet so not sure how well it holds zero but seems high quality.

Perfect for my Arsenal ...

Perfect for my Arsenal SLR-107CR. It slides on the side scope rail and locks firmly into plave. The lock has adjustment allowing you to set it tight. Easy on and off for flexibility. Great product.
