Original S&W replacement ...

Original S&W replacement part for model 908. Perfect fit, replaced damaged sight, restoring gun to original condition. Easy to install, just tap old sight out (from left to right toward extractor side) with small piece of wood and hammer. Light taps will do it. I let penetrating oil soak in for about an hour first. I supported the slide on the side of a roll of duct tape, low tech solution but works well and protects slide. Tap new part in (from right to left) and center in dovetail. I put a small piece of duct tape over side of sight to protect it. Be aware there are 2 small springs trapped under the metal base of the sight. Tap sight in part way and slip springs under sight with small blade screwdriver, then tap in rest of way.
