I mounted a Burris Fast ...

I mounted a Burris Fast Fire on a Burris PEPR scope mount. With only 2 slots, the Fast Fire does not mount straight and repeatedly kicks off to one side. Have to adjust the red dot way off to the side. Put the Fast Fire on a different gun. Would be much better with 3 slots. Thought Burris would have realized this.

This seems like a pretty ...

This seems like a pretty good addition to your XTR rings. I bought one to add a Burris Fast Fire optic as a back up for my Nikon Buckmasters 4.5-14x40mm scope. It seems that with the slightly higer turrets of that particular scope (kind of in between target turets and standard turrets) and teh 40mm objective, the Fast Fire will have just enough clearance to be useful. If you plan to use a scope with an objective much larger than 40mm, or with the very high tactical/target turrets, youd probably need to use one of those adapters that allows you to mount a backup optic in the 1 o'clock or 11 o'clock position, or a riser to give you clearance.
