Good accurate bullet. ...

Good accurate bullet. Diameter mic'd at 0.452" w/ 0.001" variation. Weights checked is within 1gr. I load this in 45 Win Mag cases to about 1,700 fps fired from a Wildey with a 10" barrel. I found a way to install gas checks on this bullet using my Hornady bullet puller with a 0.451 collet. I inserted the base of the bullet (about 1/8" in)inside the puller's collet fingers and adjusted the action to size down the bullet just enough to install gas checks by hand pressure. Then I crimped the gas check using my Lyman gas check seater. No lead experienced and bullet is very accurate forming a 2" group out to 50 yds from a rest. Recommend this product...

I like the Oregon Trail lazer cast 45 cal bullets because they feed well in a semi auto and can be loaded in 45 long colt as well. The bullet weights are all very close to 200 gr. I think they shoot accurate.

I have been shooting cast lead my whole life. The biggest complaint I have ever had was leading my barrel. Since I started using Laser Cast in 2001 I rarely have to de-lead my bore (once ever 2000 rounds) and these bullets are, while intended for 45 long colt, quite accurate and 100% reliable from my HK USP 45.I would highly recommend this bullet to anyone with a 1911 that has problems with semi-wadcutters or truncated cones. My USP will shoot anything I put in it, so my selection of this bullet is based upon accuracy and ease of clean-up only. I have never found a cast round as accurate (and of such a hard matterial allowing me near copper jacketed speeds) and easy to work with as this. I HIGHLY recommend it.The quality control from the factory is also excellent. I have noticed less than 3 grains difference in weight in more than 100 boxes that I have used in the last 4 years.A truly superior product. It is now the ONLY brand of cast lead bullets that I shoot.

I bought these bullets for an upcoming IDPA match. I found them to be quite accurate with Win 231 powder. Feeding was flawless in my Kimber 1911.
