I still own a 20 cal. ...

I still own a 20 cal. (5mm) Blue Streak under the Benjamin brand after more than 35 years I have not wanted a better air rifle. It is simply the best performing, most durable, and accurate rifle there is for the investment. I have never had a failure on this rifle. The 7 pump cycle is very powerful, and will put the Sheridan pellet through a round plastic 1 gallon jug full of water! My son has witnessed the accuracy and is still talking about the day I took out a hovering carpenter bee with it and a four power .22 scope mounted on it! You cannot go wrong with this air rifle, and the propellant is free!

We've had about a ...

We've had about a half-dozen of these in our air rifle collection. I've had several others that had more velocity, but the .20 Sheridan pellets for some reason kill rabbits cleaner than either .177 or .22. The Co2 version was handy but didn't shoot as hard as the pump-ups. Get one while you can.

I have owned two .20 cal. ...

I have owned two .20 cal. Sheridans Both being the pneumatic pump version. The first was of course the old style it gave me 27 years of trouble free service and was at the time the most accurate in my collection. It dusted many squirrels with one shot to the head at various ranges and with no scope. I now own the revised version a CB9 and with my eyes not being what they used to be, I added a 4x air gun scope using the intermount system. It has not disappointed me yet. Accuracy is all I expected and more. Still hitting head shots on squirrels but at an extended range with the scope. I own six airguns from various manufacturers, and my Sheridan CB9 continues to be one of my favorites.

I had use of a Sheridan ...

I had use of a Sheridan Blue Streak for many years until I bought my own in 1988. I still have that rifle and use is frequently. I had a scope on it for many years with good results. But a couple years ago I removed the scope and added the Williams peep sight. With the Williams peep sight I can knock off Colombian Ground Squirrels out to 25 yards. This rifle likes heavy pellets like the Silver-jets, Crow-magnums and slugs. I have a dozen or so air rifles of various styles and calibers. Many are very expensive but the Sheridan .20 Cal is my favorite!

My Sons and I have ...

My Sons and I have worn-out three of these since about 1976 when they were branded Sheridan Blue Streak. These rugged rifles reliably dispatched ground squirrels in the 1000's at ranges exceeding 20 yards. The modern rifle is superior in finish, with a much better trigger. Money well spent....
