Of all the CLP products ...

Of all the CLP products I've used, this one seems to clean the best. Many CLP products clean only so-so, but lubricate and protect well. This one does all three well! My only suggestion is to buy some and try it, you won't be disappointed.

Not only is this stuff ...

Not only is this stuff great for all purpose care of your firearms, the Otis "kits" that accompany this product are truly a step forward. This is my second bottle, and although it is small in volume, a little goes a long way. Zero complaints. All purpose product does it all. 4 stars.

Even though I prefer ...

Even though I prefer separate solvent and lubricants, the Otis combination bore cleanser with lubricant and rust preventative works well. It seems to clean the bore about as well as Hoppes #9 without the odor, and it left a thin film lubricating residue behind. I'd like to see some independent test data that verifies the lubricating and rust preventative properties, but I have no experience to refute the claims. For the very small Otis Tactical bore cleaning kit, the tiny bottle of multipurpose stuff makes sense. The dropper applicator bottle is the best way to put bore cleaning solvent on a patch. It's much better than dunking a patch into a bottle of liquid, or using a pump spray bottle. Even in a small portable cleaning kit, I'd like to have more solvent than half an ounce. A little does go a long way, but not that far. I think a four ounce bottle with a dropper applicator would be ideal.
