This is the go to product ...

This is the go to product after all else fails. I shoot over 1500 rounds of various big game hunting rifle rounds + 2000 rounds of 223 a year. I love Sweets and Montana Extreme copper removers, but often I have to Scub the bore after shooting too many (50) pure copper rounds between cleanings, expetially 223. Also, remember that other copper solvents have to sit in the bore for desolving that copper. I don't want to wait, so I scrub with Witches. To save your brushes, soak them in alcohol immediately.

This is the only bore ...

This is the only bore cleaner that will get out all the copper in the bore of my Kimber 8400 Super American in 338 Winchester Magnum. After cleaning with Witches Brew I can shoot 1-1/2" groups at 200 yards. I'm lucky to get 2 inches at 100 with anything else. There is little or no odor. However, it does in a bore brush every other cleaning. It is also expensive, especially including freight. Only use it when nothing else will work. It is not sold in any retail store that I can find.

It has a very strong ...

It has a very strong odor. Although it works, it is difficult to use. It turns black as part of its chemical process weather the bore is clean or not so after use you have to clean out the black with light oil and and run some stuff that turns green to see if you've got to do it again.

I first heard about this product through a friend and found it removes all carbon and fouling. Non offensive smell and gets the job done the first time aroun. Definitely restores accuracy in fouled barrels.
