I had the exact opposite ...

I had the exact opposite experience as the gentleman from Bryan, TX. I, too, replaced my MKIII trigger with the C&S wide trigger and found that the reset wasn't as sure without the magazine safety. This spring cured the issue without adding to the trigger pull in any noticeable way.

Removed magazine safety ...

Removed magazine safety spring on FEG Hi-Power, but then not enough tension to reset trigger reliably. Turns out that present day Browning Hi-Powers, and apparently my KBI/FEG clone, come standard with reduced power trigger return springs to try to re-mediate the poor trigger pull caused by the model 1935 magazine safety design. This Wolf extra power spring fixed my reset problems instantly and it fit like a glove with no problems at all. Remember though, in older Browning Hi-Powers, they already carried this stiffer spring from the factory. Thanks Midway for getting my poor-man's IDPA pistol up and running and shipping time was just fine, as usual!

I have a 2004 Mark III ...

I have a 2004 Mark III Practical. I bought the C&S wide trigger which I like except that the reset was not 100%. Bought this Spring based on a review of C&S extra power spring. Spring is heavier, stiffer steel but the geometry is wrong. Trigger resets only after bounce trigger off back. Will not reset with a smooth let-off. "Beak" ahead of trigger not long or deep enough. Inadequate preload on the trigger. Will be contacting Wolff.
