This die is fantastic. It ...

This die is fantastic. It is very simple to set up, and you can move the shoulder back just a tiny bit, or as much as you would like, while precisely controlling neck tension. It comes with a decapping stem and pin, leave it or decap separately--again your choice. With the decapper in place, I set up the die per factory instructions, and it worked like a charm, moved the shoulder back about .0050 and sized the neck perfectly, while providing a finished case with excellent concentricity and consistency. The bushings are cryogenically treated to give a 'tighter grain structure in the metal'--whatever the case is, it works great, very smooth and easy to cycle your cases. I have found that I do not need to lube cases at all with this die, which is another huge plus in my book. The only advice I would offer on this die is to carefully check your neck tension after sizing with this (or most neck dies) as proper sizing for one type of brass, or even a different lot of brass can give a large variance in the amount of neck tension that actually results--as an example, when set up to work perfectly with Nosler brass, the Lapua brass I had in same caliber (308 in this case) was not sized down enough, and there was not even enough neck tension to hold the bullet more than finger tight.I will buy one of these dies for every caliber Forster offers one in that I have.

This product has very good potential. The only problem I have seen is the bushing disparity in stated sizes - from older style (shiny outside)to newer style (vapor honed outside), which may or may not be a problem (depends on what you need and how you take your measurements), and available calibers. Other than that it does exactly what Forster products are designed to do, and do it very nicely I might add.
