Timney Featherweight Triggers are precision machined and hand-fitted to provide a crisp trigger pull. They feature a lightweight alloy housing with machined and hardened steel working surfaces. Adjustable for creep and overtravel. Requires fitting by a qualified gunsmith. The Featherweight Deluxe also features a safety. Fits all large and small ring Mausers including the Yugoslavian M48, Husqvarna, Interarms Mark X. Will not fit Swedish Mausers and carbine actions with "KAR 98" on the siderails.

This trigger and safety ...

This trigger and safety system was easy to install and adjust to the desired trigger pull. Some additional stock work is required with this model. I currently own three with the safety and one without and have found all of them to be excellant products. I plan to purchase another for my next project rifle.

The look and finish of ...

The look and finish of the trigger is nice. The instalation was easy. The problem is that the sear was too high to cleanly release the cocking piece. Machining both the sear and cocking piece may have been necessary. The trigger pull was great, but the gun would not fire, so I returned the Timney trigger, and replaced it with the Bold trigger. The Timney trigger pull is slightly better than the Bold. SLIGHTLY! The Bold trigger is half the price, and has worked flawlessly for me. I would, however, try a Timney trigger again. I think this may have been a fluke. The action is a Yugo M-48.

The trigger was very easy ...

The trigger was very easy to install. The instuction with diagrams gave a step by step direction of installation. Some of the stock was removed to fit the safety to the stock.

A great trigger, but be ...

A great trigger, but be aware that you will need to remove a decent ammount of wood to fit. If you dont need the extra safety then order the one WITHOUT the additional feature.

When my rifle was built ...

When my rifle was built on the Mauser 98 platform we installed this trigger and went for a 2# break. There was an ever so slight but noticeable click right before the break. The gunsmith said he could polish it out and I said no let's try it as is. I now have the absolute best trigger pull. Even after 100's of shots, I'm still surprised. Friends who shoot it convert to Timney. It's like shooting a two stage. I highly recommend this product for any discriminating shooters.
